The CSIforsustainability team has a combined 26 years of experience in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Social Investment implementation, agricultural and horticultural management as well as environmental management. The team is also passionate about working with people and helping them achieve their goals as individuals or as a community.
To open the eyes and ears of South African communities to the potential benefits that are available to them from Corporate South Africa. To create awareness about the CSR and CSI, eventually improving relations between corporates and local communities. Also, through this platform, we hope to teach South Africans to actively participate and pay attention to local corporate’s business operations to ensure that they are undertaken ethically, and they are socially as well as environmentally responsible.
As an organisation that enjoys helping people where we can, it’s in our nature to assist them get help from Corporate South Africa through the Corporate Social Investment initiatives. We believe in the idiomatic expression that says “Umuntu ungumuntu ngabantu” – I am what I am because of help from people. Our intention is to profile and elevate the good work done by Corporate SA through the grants, donations and projects aimed at developing people and uplifting communities they live in. We also want to create awareness to society about the possibilities for assistance that exists in Corporates, at a time when employment opportunities are becoming scarce, youth can start their own business structures with the help of Corporates through CSI. At the end of the day, we are bridging the gap between corporations and society, and hopefully contribute to corporate brand awareness and positivity.
